SparkleNSprinkle

I have really been busy the last couple of days, had to work on Monday, dental appointment, and then met my good friend, Sonnie to have dinner.  Then we went to our SU group meeting and did some fantastic projects which I will show later.  Rose had great projects lined up!  Then yesterday, Sonnie and I took a trip to Fredericksburg and visited AC Moore and the scrapbooking store in that huge mall.  I found nine our of the twelve new Ranger distressing inks.  They are so pretty!  Anyhoo, the card above is usisng SparkleNSprinkle stamps.  I used parchement vellum to stamp the designs on and then colored with Copic markes.  I used a couple of the embossing powders from SNS, the clear and moss.  I also used Ranger distressing inks to color in the background using the ink blending tool.  The parchment vellum really inks up nicely!  Now I've got to do a little bit of housework and then get into my room to sort through my new toys!  Have a great day!

Baby Cards

I needed a girl baby card the other day and did several.  I used a retired Stampin Up set.  Isn't this vintage dress adorable?  I stamped on white cs with a medium shade of brown ink and colored the dress with Copic markers.  I used one of the new label dies from Spellbinders and layered.  The largest die is the perfect size for a card.  I had some designer paper left over from last year which I used.

SparkleNSprinkle Butterflies

This is another card done with a stamp from http://www.sparklensprinkle.com/.  This is just one stamp from a set.  You can go to their website and check out all of their stamp sets!  Beautiful sets, very well foam mounted, and they stamp so nice!  I used black cs for the card and Tempting Turquoise cs from SU.  I used one of the frames from Spellbinders for the turquoise.  I then stamped the butterflies on white cs with black ink and embossed with clear.  I then colored with copic markers.  I cut out the image and applied to black cs. Using a glue pen I applied  waterfall, orange, and purple glitter to the wings which really made it pop.  Also  http://www.sparklensprinkle.com/ has loads of glitter, every color imaginable.  They also have a brushable glue which is great for the glitter. I finished the card by adding "butterfly wishes" (which is in this set of stamps) which was also embossed.  Hope you enjoyed seeing this card.

Good morning everyone!  Such a beautiful day  maybe spring is on its way!  The stamp is from SparkleNSprinkle and I colored it with Copic markers.  I added several embossing powders from SparkleNSprinkle, pink and mossy green which really made the design pop.  I used a frame set from Spellbinders and punched light pink ink in the smaller frame.  I used PTI light pink cs.  Enjoy!

Chirping

I have a new card for everyone this morning. I like to think winter is behind us and we are moving into spring. This bird is singing a song of spring...... The image is from SparkleNSprinkle. You can get just the bird stamp or you can get the whole set of birds which is a great price. I love to color birds. The cs is chocolate, light yellow, and white. I used one of the Cuttlebug embossing folders for my background and highlighted the berriers with dimensional glue and yellow glitter from SparkleNSprinkle. Ialso used nestabilities from Spellbinders. Enjoy!

SparkleNSprinkle

There are five stampers that meet and complete card kits from Sparkle N Sprinkle stamp company in Florida. We met this past Sunday and had three card kits to complete as we had not been able to meet the previous months because of the snow. One of my cards didn't turn out too good so didn't want to show it. The above two are really neat. The kits are packed full of nice goodies, the paper is cut, glitter is included, etc. Anyone interested in these kits should go to their website and chek them out. The stamps also are included! Needless to say, we had a great time chatting, laughing, and "playing". Thank you, Ruth, for the delicious homemade pound cake with lemon sauce.

This is one of my favorite cards! It was made for a teenagers birthday. I used one of the clear images from Inkadinkado and stamped with Dark Chocolate ink (PTI) on white cs (PTI). I used my circle nestabilites to die cut the horse and surrounding dark chocolate circle. I used a Martha Stewart punch to cut the edges in the dark chocolate cs. The designer paper is by Basic Grey. Ribbon is by SU. The leaf punches are by Martha Stewart. The roses are some I found on sale at Michaels last year.

Welcome to my blog

I am finally getting my stamping blog started. My name is Eleanor Jenkins and I live in central Virginia. I have been crafting for ages but now my hobby is mainly stamping. I sell my handstamped cards at craft fairs where I meet some wonderful people, to friends, etc. At the end of the year whatever I have left over I donate to the troops. Hopefully I will be posting many pics of my cards for everyone to enjoy.
