Blog winnings

Wow!!  I have won another blog candy.  This is the fourth time within the past two months.  I'm so happy.  This is a stamp set from http://www.rubberstamptapestry.com/.  I commented on Judy's blog at http://www.rubberstamptapestry.com/.  This is so neat!!  I'm going to invite all of my stamping friends down one day so we can play with all of my new goodies!  A couple of weeks ago I won a magnolia stamp from http://www.scrapbitz.blogspot.com/.  These are both great blogs and have super inspiration in case any of you want to check them out!  I'm doing the happy dance!

Happy 4th of July to everyone!  It is going to be a hot day here in Virginia so thought I would upload a beach themed card.  The bookmark tag can be removed and used as a bookmark or tag for that special "beach" person.  I used Stamping Up cardstock for the card and tag.  I used watercolor cardstock for the shell -- stamped the shell with white ink and embossed.  Then I covered the watercolor paper with Ranger distress ink.   I love this technique -- so easy.  I then cut out the image with my Spellbinders circle and sprayed with a mixture of perfect pearls and water.  Very sparkly.  I distressed the tag and flourish with Ranger inks and stamped "Beach Bum".  I glued on real shells at the bottom.  All images are from the set Stamp Set 403 - By the Seashore by http://www.spakrlensprinkle.com/.  This set has three lovely shells in it that can be cut out with the circle nestabilities from Spellbinders.  HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY WEEKEND!!
