Happy 4th of July to everyone!  It is going to be a hot day here in Virginia so thought I would upload a beach themed card.  The bookmark tag can be removed and used as a bookmark or tag for that special "beach" person.  I used Stamping Up cardstock for the card and tag.  I used watercolor cardstock for the shell -- stamped the shell with white ink and embossed.  Then I covered the watercolor paper with Ranger distress ink.   I love this technique -- so easy.  I then cut out the image with my Spellbinders circle and sprayed with a mixture of perfect pearls and water.  Very sparkly.  I distressed the tag and flourish with Ranger inks and stamped "Beach Bum".  I glued on real shells at the bottom.  All images are from the set Stamp Set 403 - By the Seashore by  This set has three lovely shells in it that can be cut out with the circle nestabilities from Spellbinders.  HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY WEEKEND!!

  1. What a wonderful card with great beachy flavors! You did a great job with the inks and embellishments. The white EP is perfect!

  2. Eleanor,
Love the color selection on this card. It carries a glow and a punch all in one!
