Vellum Daisy

My friend and I were playing around one day the other week and decided to try using vellum for some flowers. She had her set of daisies and the matching dies from Heartfelt Creations so I started stamping in white ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder.  I used pink and light green vellum.  Sonnie did the labor part by using the Grand Calibur from Spellbinderspaperarts and die cutting all of the flowers and leaves.  We then shared what we had and later that n ight I made this cute card.  I colored the vellum flowers with a marker to get a deeper pink. The background is embossed using the Cuttlebug and the larger dot folder.  I'm not sure what company makes the sentiment -- have had it for ages!  I also used Tim Holtz Sizzix die for the flourish.  Enjoy.

  1. Another beautiful card! I'm partial to flowers anyway, but this is lovely with the soft green shades.

  2. Eleanor, this card is just beautiful! Simple, elegant and just enough. Love the added touch of the flourish too.
