Autumn Inspirations

When I think of autumn, I always think of pumpkins, so I decided to make a card with some pumpkin stamps from SNS http://sparklensprinkle.com/o/index.php?cPath=82_93. Aren't these pumpkins just darling?  They can be used in so many ways!  Plus the autumn stamps are on sale!!  Yay!!  I stamped the pumpkins on orange cardstock and shaded them with Prismacolor pencils.  I then cut them out.  The background is done with burlap material and covered with dark chocolate cardstock which I die cut with my Grand Calibur die cutting machine.  The sentiment is also from SNS and can be found at http://sparklensprinkle.com/o/index.php?cPath=82_84.  You can read a more detailed description of my card at  http://sparklensprinkle.com/g/view_photo.php?set_albumName=Thanksgiving&id=adl

    Oooh, what great texture on this card. Love the burlap in the background. Great pumpkins, and their smiles look like the "year's last smile." :-)

    Beautiful card I love all the fall colors and the punpkins have such sweet faces and colors love the swirl embelishment I just love this card. thanks for sharing and for the chance to win some cool prizes. I do loves your stamps would love to get some.

    Eleanor, I too like that burlap--it adds so much dimension! Have never used fabric on a card, but I just might try it now.

    The more I see these pumpkins, the more I want them. I love the fact that you are a Prisma colored pencil user also. I've learned a fun blending technique if you're interested. I would be happy to share. Thank you for sharing.

    Wow! I love the texture and look of the burlap framed by the chocolate color cardstock cut out with a nestabilitie die. Love the pumpkins. Great card.

    Super cute card. The burlap reminds me of going to pick out our pumpkin and picking apples at our local orchard. So festive. I love to see happy pumpkins.
