Textured Background

Happy sunny day to everyone!  It is cold here in Virginia today but the sun is shinning!  Spring is on its way!  I have a stash of colored images and found this one and decided to make a card with it.  I had colored the image which is a Stampin Up image from a couple of years ago, with copic markers.  I embossed a piece of orchid opulence cs from SU (retired color) using my cuttlebug machine.  I then brayered chocolate ink (PTI) over the raised area.  I die cut the flourish image and also the corner pieces (which are cut in half).  I stamped my sentiment on white cs and punched out.  I then layered this over the ribbon.  I used certainly celery, orchid opulence, and white cardstock.  This is such a beautiful iris that I need to pull out that set and do more!

  1. Opulent is the right word, Eleanor! It's a gorgeous card - colorwise and in every other way! TFS

  2. Beautiful card,Eleanor.I love all the elements of it. I need to get that emboss folder you used. Everytime I see it used it just makes the card pop.
